With the arrival of the pallet last week, Brent and the workers were able to put in the pipe on Friday. They laid the line and fed the pump into the well, despite the high temperatures. We are so thankful for their hard work! The well was able to pump water for a few hours on Saturday. This is an answer to prayer and we would like to thank you for continually lifting up the well in prayer. This past weekend also marked the Big Sale. Many people from our village do not have the opportunity to go to Lusaka and shop for clothes and household items. This sale allows our neighbors to purchase the things they need.

Lining up for the Big Sale

The Sale was to begin at 3:00pm on Friday, and by 1:00, we had a queue forming outside the door. We had a steady stream of people for the next few hours. Through this sale, it exposed the community of The Esther School - students, their families, and the people of Nyangwena.

God has answered prayers this week, and we thank Him for His presence at The Esther School. This week, we ask you to pray on behalf of the students who still need sponsors. We are looking for 7 sponsors to step forward and meet this need. God has chosen sponsors for these children, and we pray that God will send the Spirit to place it on their hearts. Additional prayer requests include:

  • Health of the students. the chicken pox has been making its way around the students.
  • Praise for the well and bless the work that is being complete on it
  • For the new staff member who is coming in less than a month. Pray that she feels God's presence and steady hand as she prepares to come.
