March has been a fun month. We got a chance to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. We read quite a few of his books and integrated his literature into art. Last Friday, we read "Oh the Places You'll Go." We talked about our faith journey, highs and lows we will have along the way, but how God is faithful though it all. We also spent some time dreaming about the future. The students got the opportunity to hope and dream about what they want to be when they grow up. It was so fun to see them get excited about the future and the potential they have. Many of the kids aspire to be doctors, teachers, and accountants! After sharing with the class, they painted hot air balloons and wrote their dreams on them. I can't help but smile and think, "yes, oh the places God will take you, grade one students."
