March Celebrations

March is a month full of celebration in Zambia and at The Esther School. See how we celebrated:

On March 7, TES reached the 100th day of the school year!

Classes had special activities planned to celebrate the day, and a few special “visitors” greeted students. What’s 100 days of school mean to TES? It’s 100 days of opportunities, 100 days of learning, and 100 days of growing!

International Women’s Day was March 8!

It was a day to celebrate the women around us and the impact they make. Some of the female teachers and staff at The Esther School attended a local celebration, performed a song, and marched with other women from the community. We are so thankful for these women who are great role models for our girls!

March 12 was Youth Day!

We celebrated the youth of Zambia! Classes played football (soccer) with each other and ran races. Grade 5 and 6 from the local public school even joined for football. We are excited about what God is doing now in students’ lives and what He will do with His children in the future!

We have so much to be thankful for - the time and the people the Lord has put into our lives. It was great to enjoy and celebrate some of these things together!
